We are looking for a 5-star home for our two-year-old gelding Brunello, born on April 22, 2024. Pedigree: Piece of Cake M x Quint VH Maarlo Z x Caretino

Sire: Piece of Cake M - a stallion with excellent technique, plenty of scope & carefulness over the jump. He has an outstanding attitude and balance, making him incredibly pleasant to ride.

Dam: Snickers JS – a very beautiful mare who radiates peace and calm, despite being light-footed and having quick reflexes. The sire of Snickers JS, Quint van het Maarlo Z, is the son of the legendary stallion Quidam de Revel. Further back in the dam line are Landetto, Darco, and the Thoroughbred stallion Alcanar.

Brunello is a very well-behaved two-year-old. He spends his days here in a gelding herd of 9 horses of all ages and comes into the stable every night. He loves playing with the others and is rather submissive. Brunello loves all the attention he can get. He is absolutely not fearful and enjoys watching the tractors driving on our farm's driveway. He walks through the hangar with agricultural machinery without looking up. He is a horse that loves to be busy and stands "fiddling" with your grooming kit in the stable. Anything within his reach goes into his mouth. Brunello is very good during grooming and with the farrier.

Both dam and sire are of a good size. Brunello is already quite tall. We expect him to grow to between 1.70 and 1.75 meters.

Brunello had a full veterinary inspection in April, including neck and back. The X-rays were top-notch, except for one small OCD in the knee. The veterinarian recommends having this removed before he is started under saddle. X-rays and inspection report are available.

Our Brunello is very dear to us and will only go to a good home. Dealers do not need to respond.
