The oldest offspring of Candy de Nantuel are breaking through at the age of nine, such as Horizon des Partages, Chagrin d’Amour, and Hermes des Cabanes. Last year, he made a significant mark on the young horse championships in Fontainebleau, where he was strongly represented in the finals. A notable detail is that Candy’s half-brother, Indigo de Nantuel, triumphed there in the seven-year-old category.

Candy de Nantuel himself competed successfully under Pénélope Leprévost at 1.55m level. The fact that Candy de Nantuel is developing into one of the most remarkable sires of his generation is no surprise given his strong pedigree. He is a full brother to the exceptional Hello Folie, with whom Scott Brash won double silver at the European Championships in La Coruña. Dam Thara Nantuel performed internationally at 1.45m level and jumped to a third-place finish in the national 1.50m in Lyon. Furthermore, she is a full sister to the 1.60m horse Oceane de Nantuel. Granddam Karma de Nantuel also showcased her qualities at the national 1.50m level. The sire is the Grand Prix stallion Luidam, who was a mainstay for the Irish team with Billy Twomey. Offspring such as Blue Angel, Luibanta BH, Luikan Q, and Gemma W have proven his exceptional prepotency.
