Glasgow van 't Merelsnest

Glasgow is a son of the foundation sire Nabab de Rêve out of the famous international jumping mare Wendelina van't Merelsnest - the full sister of Sapphire, two-time Olympic champion with the American team. In addition to Glasgow van ’t Merelsnest, Wendelina produced two full brothers who compete internationally, Edjaz and Koblenz van ’t Merelsnest. Grandmother Idjaz-C produced, besides Sapphire, the international show jumpers Lapino, Qarco van ’t Merelsnest, and Vincenzo van ’t Merelsnest.



Palmares

Under Jur Vrieling, Glasgow van ’t Merelsnest belongs to the top level of global show jumping and competed at the European Championships in Gothenburg and the WEG in Tryon. Highlights included the victory in the FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona and winning the prestigious Grand Prix of Rome. In addition, he won Nations Cups and other major international classes.
